Currently Playing
Currently playing a level 45 Guardian. It’s been a refreshing change to have feet again after playing EVE for so long. Questing and grinding up to 50 - can’t really see much of a future in the game and it’s more of a stop-gap until Warhammer is out. Duoed all the way with Kris playing a minstrel.
Played since 2004, lost interest, but the account is still active training and accumulating money. Character was in Xetic as a newbie, then in FIX until the corp we were in left for the north, as a resident of IRON. We then joined another IRON resident corp, and eventually Intergalactic Corp, a full-blown IRON corp. Activity wise, we have not done much of note in IRON, unfortunately, it’s been pretty dull. Most fun in EVE to date has been in our alt-corp, wardeccing newbs in low-security space, and duoing with Kris in 0.0 space.
Have Played (of note)
Up till 2004, Kris and I played on Prydwen, a European server. Had many level 50 characters, my main was a RR6 Cleric and I also played a RR6 Infiltrator in RvR. I was a raid leader (Kris was GM) in The Last Watch - we pretty much completed every raid there was in DAoC. Much fun was had, good times - won’t be another MMO like it.
I played Tribes 1 in the late 90s, addictively. It was amazing, and by far the best team-based shooter ever to have graced games. I also played Tribes 2 somewhat, and T:V for about a week.
Waiting For
Mythic Entertainment (now an ea studio) are making Warhammer, hopefully it will turn out quite similar to DAoC (one can pray). Not on the beta, but looking forward to taking part in retail. It’s just been delayed until Q3 08 though…

Will Wrights Spore - looks like another ground-breaking title from Maxis. Cannot wait. Did I ever mention I had the pleasure of working with a ex-Maxis employee? He was American.
